EFDA Dental Assistant
Join Our Team!
We are seeking a dependable, professional, and team-oriented Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, works well with others, and takes pride in maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist with expanded functions procedures in accordance with state regulations
Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient comfort
Prepare treatment rooms and maintain proper infection control protocols
Take and process dental radiographs
Chart treatment and maintain accurate patient records
Collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and front office staff
Help maintain an organized and productive clinical environment
Qualifications:
Current EFDA certification and applicable state licensure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent time management skills and a commitment to punctuality
Positive attitude and willingness to assist coworkers when needed
Experience with dental software is a plus
