Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
Deliver a wide range of dental services such as general dentistry procedures, dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Utilize dental terminology accurately to explain procedures and educate patients on oral health best practices.
Conduct oral surgery procedures with precision, maintaining aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Apply advanced dental imaging techniques for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Manage medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and treatment efficiency.
Use dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, billing, and record keeping.
Maintain a clean and sterile environment following infection control standards to prevent cross-contamination.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing education related to endodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and other specialties.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice dentistry with relevant certifications.
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with a focus on general dentistry procedures.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques.
Demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics (including root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental fabrication.
Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of infection control protocols including aseptic technique and HIPAA compliance.
Ability to perform dental extractions safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient safety.
