Our clinic offers a full range of dental services including preventive care, restorative treatments, cosmetic dentistry, and surgical procedures. We pride ourselves on fostering long-term patient relationships and supporting continuous learning for our staff.
We are currently looking for a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) who is passionate about patient care and thrives in a collaborative setting. This role requires a strong understanding of clinical procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to provide a positive patient experience from start to finish.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures
Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures (fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, etc.)
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Take dental radiographs and ensure proper safety protocols are followed
Maintain accurate patient records and charting
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Accurately record clinical notes and treatment details
Manage appointment flow and assist with scheduling when needed
Process lab cases and track incoming/outgoing work
Patient Care
Greet and prepare patients, ensuring comfort and understanding of procedures
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions
Address patient concerns and contribute to a positive, supportive experience
Qualifications
Certified Dental Assistant
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with dental softwares such as Open Dental
Ability to work well in a team environment
Preferred Skills
Experience with digital X-rays and electronic charting
Multilingual abilities (considered an asset)
Previous experience in a general or specialty dental practice
working hours : 16-32
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $29.00 per hour
