Job Description
Location: Point Loma, San Diego
Schedule: Tue, Wed, Thur | 8-5 | No evening or weekends
Compensation: $30-40 per hour, based on experience
Experience requirements: 5 years of dental assisting experience required.
Personality fit is key for this role. We’re looking for a kind, warm, and outgoing individual who will fit in naturally with our small, close-knit team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team environment, brings a positive attitude to work each day, and is dependable, hardworking, and quick to learn.
You’ll be expected to cross-train between the front office and back office. Chairside assisting experience is required. Front office experience is a plus, and we’re happy to train the right candidate who is motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow within the practice.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Compensation: If hired, candidates will start at $30.00 per hour. After a 90-day probationary period, compensation will be reviewed and adjusted based on the skills, proficiency, and performance you demonstrate during that time. What are your long-term wage expectations?
Experience:
Open Dental: 1 year (Preferred)
Dental receptionist: 2 years (Preferred)
digital impressions: 3 years (Required)
intraoral photos: 3 years (Required)
Dental assisting: 5 years (Required)
Entering EOBs and Account Adjustents: 1 year (Preferred)
Submitting PPO Claims / Disputing Denials: 1 year (Preferred)
fabricating and cementing temporary crowns: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
RDA or DA License (Required)
Work Location: In person
