$28–$33/hour
Seattle Crown Hill Dental is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our Assisted Hygiene Team.
This is more than a traditional hygiene assistant position. You will have your own important role in the patient's appointment—working alongside our hygienist and doctors to provide exceptional care, keep the appointment flowing smoothly, and create a positive patient experience.
Your Role
You will begin the hygiene appointment by welcoming the patient, building rapport, and helping them feel comfortable. You'll take excellent diagnostic-quality X-rays, update necessary information, perform polishing and delegated procedures, and provide patient education.
You'll also be present during the doctor's exam, where strong dental knowledge and attention to detail are essential. You will accurately chart findings, treatment recommendations, and progress notes while helping reinforce the expertise and recommendations of our hygienists and doctors.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
Has previous dental assisting experience
Takes excellent, readable diagnostic X-rays
Is confident with dental terminology, charting, and clinical documentation
Communicates naturally and professionally with patients
Can educate patients and reinforce recommended treatment
Anticipates what the hygienist and doctor need
Is organized, dependable, accountable, and takes initiative
Enjoys being busy and working as part of a strong clinical team
Current Washington State Dental Assistant registration and Healthcare CPR certification required.
