Job Description
Dr. Harold A. Smith is an established dentist practicing in Indianapolis at Dental Sleep Medicine of Indiana. In 2015, Dr. Smith limited his General Dentistry practice to treat medically referred patients who suffer from Sleep Apnea. Dr. Smith treats patients with mild to moderately severe sleep apnea. He works as part of a medical team with physicians who refer to our practice in all fields of medicine.
At Dental Sleep Medicine of Indiana, we specialize in helping patients find comfortable, effective alternatives to CPAP intolerance or struggling with sleep apnea. Our practice blends advanced clinical care with a warm, personalized approach.
As our Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinical flow. You'll assist with oral appliance therapy, digital impressions, appliance fittings and patient education.
Responsibilities:
Assist the doctor chairside during consultations and appliance fittings.
Take impressions through 3D scans or traditional impressions.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
Educate patients about oral appliance use and care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Manage appliance tracking.
Qualifications:
X-Ray certified.
Understanding of excellence in providing services for patients.
Word Processing is a necessity.
Learning about Dental Sleep Medicine.
Motivated team member.
Experienced with at least 3 years in Dentistry.
