Experienced Dental Assistant - Join Our Growing Team

Due to continued growth, we are adding an additional Dental Assistant to our team. This is a newly created position to help support our expanding patient base and maintain the exceptional level of care our patients have come to expect.

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who is positive, energetic, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a true team player who takes initiative, communicates well with patients and coworkers, and helps keep the schedule and clinical flow running smoothly throughout the day.

Responsibilities Include:

- Assisting the doctor during dental procedures

- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining sterilization protocols

- Taking digital radiographs and clinical photos

- Entering accurate clinical notes and charting

- Helping keep the clinical schedule on time and flowing efficiently

- Reviewing and discussing treatment recommendations with patients

- Educating patients on the importance of treatment and helping them understand their dental needs

- Assisting with treatment planning and ensuring patients leave with a clear understanding of their care

- Supporting the overall success of the practice through teamwork and communication
Qualifications:

- Dental Assisting experience preferred

- Current radiography certification

- Experience with treatment planning and patient education a must

- Knowledge of Dentrix Ascend is a plus
