Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality dental care and a commitment to patient education and comfort. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring the overall oral health of our patients.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient record management and treatment planning.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations.
Experience
A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution is required.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
Experience working with pediatric patients is advantageous but not mandatory.
Proficiency in using CAD software for dental applications is desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
