Job Description:
Smiles of Canada is seeking a professional and experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in our Barrie office. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in dental office operations, including insurance, billing, and patient coordination.
Location: 11 Ferris Lane, #301 , Barrie, ON , L4M5N6
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
Manage phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
Schedule and confirm appointments
Perform patient recall calls and follow-ups
Follow up with patients and ensure continuation of care
Book and manage hygiene appointments (Recall )
Prepare and submit insurance estimates and claims
Handle billing, payments, and account follow-ups
Maintain accurate patient records and data entry
Coordinate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
2–3 years of dental front desk experience is required
Experience with dental software such as tracker
Strong experience with insurance estimates, billing, and claims processing
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Additional languages are an asset
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
