We are a growing multi-location endodontic practice seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to work between our Londonderry and Manchester, NH location. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your expertise in dental office operations, medical billing, and patient service will help streamline daily clinic functions and enhance patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with dental and medical software systems, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and documentation standards. Duties
Greet patients warmly.
Schedule appointments accurately while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance verification, and handle billing processes including medical collection procedures.
Review and update patient records ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow, including appointment reminders and follow-up care plans.
Skills
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or Medical Office Assistant with strong clinic experience.
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth.
Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and Medicare guidelines.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with office management software is essential.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security.
Exceptional phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
Demonstrated organizational skills with experience in medical scheduling, insurance verification, and documentation review.
Ability to perform clerical tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a busy clinic environment.
