Duties
Greet patients warmly and efficiently.
Exercise professional phone etiquette to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages accurately.
Verify patient insurance information, update medical and dental records, and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
Handle patient check-out procedures, including billing, payments, and appointment follow-ups.
Maintain organized electronic medical records while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily operations and timely patient flow.
Skills
Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist with knowledge of dental office procedures and workflows.
Proficiency in Tracker software is essential.
Strong understanding of terminology relevant to dental settings.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and insurance providers.
Familiarity with electronic records and maintaining accurate documentation.
Demonstrated ability to handle busy front desk responsibilities while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Previous experience in dental office environments enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
