This position requires strong communication skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology, particularly in a dental or medical office setting.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and provide them with information regarding their treatment options.
Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of time and resources.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans in compliance with privacy regulations.
Collaborate with dental or medical staff to discuss treatment protocols and patient needs.
Assist patients with insurance verification and financial arrangements related to their treatments.
Educate patients about procedures, post-treatment care, and follow-up appointments.
Address any patient inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills
Experience in a medical or dental office environment is preferred.
Proficiency in medical administrative support functions, including scheduling and record management.
Strong understanding of medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Exceptional interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients and team members.
