We are looking for someone who truly cares about people, enjoys helping patients feel comfortable, and takes pride in providing excellent clinical support.

Key Responsibilities

Anticipate the doctor’s needs and maintain an efficient clinical workflow
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment
Assist with restorative, cosmetic, crown and bridge, Invisalign, implant-restorative, endodontic, and general dental procedures
Capture high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photographs, and digital scans
Support digital dentistry and same-day crown workflows
Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their appointments
Provide clear pre-operative and post-operative instructions
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Follow infection-control, OSHA, and sterilization protocols
Help oversee clinical organization, inventory, ordering, and room readiness
Collaborate with the doctor, front office, and supporting dental assistant and sterilization team

Minimum of three years of dental assisting experience preferred
Previous dental assisting experience in a general, restorative, or cosmetic dental practice
Strong four-handed dentistry skills
Experience with digital dentistry and intraoral scanning
Ability to take diagnostic-quality digital X-rays
Strong knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and procedures
Warm, compassionate, and professional communication skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Ability to stay calm, efficient, and attentive during complex procedures
Dependable, punctual, proactive, and willing to take ownership of the clinical workflow
Preferred Experience

Virginia dental radiology certification
You may be a great fit for our team if you are clinically experienced, genuinely kind, and enjoy creating meaningful relationships with patients. We are looking for someone who supports their teammates, takes initiative, and wants to become an important long-term part of a growing private practice.

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, with the potential to expand to a fourth clinical day
Compensation: $28–$34 per hour, based on experience, clinical skills, and proficiency with digital dentistry
