Creative Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our amazing clinical team!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal candidate has:
2+ years of hands-on pediatric dental assisting experience
Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) registration
Coronal polishing certification
Nitrous oxide monitoring registration/certification
Pit and fissure sealant certification
Strong pediatric digital radiography skills
Experience assisting with stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, and pediatric restorative procedures
Experience with pediatric behavior guidance and patient management
Familiarity with Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) procedures and chairside assisting
Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control
Excellent attendance, reliability, and punctuality
A positive attitude and strong team mindset
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are strongly preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Assist with pediatric restorative and preventive procedures
Assist with stainless steel crowns, pulpotomies, and restorations
Take diagnostic-quality pediatric digital radiographs
Provide coronal polishing, as permitted
Place pit and fissure sealants, as permitted
Monitor nitrous oxide, as permitted
Prepare materials and assist the dentist during Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) procedures
Support pediatric behavior guidance and create positive patient experiences
Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
Maintain excellent sterilization and infection-control standards
Review the clinical schedule and anticipate procedure needs
Help maintain smooth and efficient patient flow throughout the clinical day
THE RDA WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You know pediatric dentistry.

You can walk into an operatory, review the procedure, and know what needs to be prepared.

You are comfortable working with young children and understand that patience, energy, and great communication can completely change a child's dental experience.

You take pride in quality radiographs, organized operatories, excellent infection control, and efficient chairside assisting.
