Job Title: Experienced Pediatric Dentist
Location: Westland, Michigan 48186
Children’s Surgery Center is an Ambulatory Surgery Center working exclusively in the dental space. We are committed to providing the highest quality dental care to children in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our team of dedicated dental professionals is passionate about ensuring that every child has a positive dental experience and maintains excellent oral health.
Position Overview:
We are seeing a skilled and compassionate experienced Pediatric Dentist to join our team at Motown Children's Surgery Center (MCSC). As a Pediatric Dentist, you will play a vital role in providing specialized dental care to children and adolescents, ensuring their oral health needs are met with exceptional care and attention.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive dental examination and assessments for pediatric patients.
Diagnose and treat dental conditions in children, including cavities, gum disease, and malocclusions.
Perform restorative procedures; such as fillings, crowns, and extractions, as needed.
Collaborate with dental and medical professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
Educate patients and their parents/ guardians about proper oral hygiene and preventive measures.
Create treatment plans tailored to each child's unique dental needs.
Address dental emergencies promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.
Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program.
Current state dental license and DEA registration. (Or ability to obtain.)
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
CPR and basic life support certification.
