Job Description
We are an established, patient focused family dental practice looking for an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist (minimum 5 years clinical experience) to join our team full time.
Our clinic is a single dentist, owner operated practice with a loyal patient base and a supportive team environment. We value high quality clinical care, strong communication, and efficient workflow.
This role is best suited for a hygienist who is confident practicing independently, comfortable discussing periodontal conditions with patients, and able to manage a full hygiene schedule.
Schedule
Full-time: 4–5 days per week
Every other Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(No long weekend Saturdays)
Compensation
From $60 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including scaling and root planing
Perform oral health assessments and periodontal charting
Take diagnostic radiographs
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to support patient care
Qualifications
Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with BCCOHP
Minimum 5 years of clinical hygiene experience required
Strong periodontal knowledge and patient education skills
Ability to work independently while maintaining an efficient schedule
This position is best suited for hygienists who take pride in clinical excellence, punctuality, and building long term relationships with patients and the team.
New graduates will not be considered for this role.
Assets
Experience with dental software (Tracker preferred)
Experience in a general/family dental practice
Ability to speak Punjabi or Hindi is an asset due to our patient community
