Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates must pass a drug screen upon hire.
Duties
Work in office 4 days a week.
Greet patients upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
Help maintain the front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, and scheduling, while maintaining accurate patient records.
Address phone calls efficiently and direct them to appropriate departments.
Work independently in the office's all-day walk-in clinic.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Collaborate with other office departments to resolve patient issues and enhance overall patient satisfaction.
Experience
Previous experience in a receptionist position in a medical office setting is preferred.
Knowledgeable about health insurance plans is preferred.
Experience with Office Practicum and/or Phreesia a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

About Premier Pediatrics-An Affiliate of Children's Mercy
Premier Pediatrics is a small, patient-centered pediatric primary care practice in Overland Park serving infants, children, adolescents, and young adults through age 21. The team includes three full-time physicians and four nurse practitioners focused on comprehensive care for children with typical development as well as those with special or complex medical needs. The practice emphasizes preventive care, immunizations, accessible walk-in services, and long-term family relationships.
