Job Description
Front Desk Coordinator
Location: Columbus, Mississippi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Stop Looking for Another Receptionist Job. Start Building a Career That Helps People Change Their Lives.
Most front desk positions are about answering phones, checking patients in, and scheduling appointments.
This isn’t one of them.
At FLEXX, the Front Desk Coordinator is the operational heartbeat of the clinic.
You are the first person every patient meets and often the last person they see before leaving. The way you communicate, solve problems, and keep the clinic running directly influences every patient’s experience and every provider’s ability to deliver exceptional care.
This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys bringing order to busy days, and genuinely cares about helping people succeed.
If you’re looking for a position where you can make a meaningful impact while growing professionally, we’d love to meet you.
About FLEXX
FLEXX exists to help people take control of their health, move better, and get back to doing what matters most without relying on drugs or unnecessary surgery.
We believe healthcare should restore function, build confidence, and empower people to live healthier, more active lives.
Our team combines chiropractic care, rehabilitation, and personalized care plans to help patients achieve measurable outcomes instead of simply managing symptoms.
Everything we do is guided by six core values:
Empowering
Accountable
Aligned
Transparent
Disciplined
Results Focused
What You’ll Do
As the Front Desk Coordinator, you’ll help create a seamless experience from the moment a patient walks through the door until they complete their care.
Your responsibilities include:
Welcome every patient with professionalism, warmth, and confidence.
Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
Check patients in and out while maintaining an exceptional patient experience.
Collect copays, balances, and payment plan installments.
Verify insurance information and maintain accurate patient records.
Monitor provider schedules to maximize clinic efficiency.
Follow up with missed appointments and help patients stay on track with their care plans.
Communicate clearly with patients regarding appointments, financial agreements, and clinic expectations.
Coordinate with the Case Manager and clinical team to ensure a smooth patient journey.
Prepare the clinic each morning and ensure it is organized and ready for the following day before leaving.
Maintain accurate documentation while protecting patient confidentiality.
Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented culture.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role isn’t measured by how many phone calls you answer.
It’s measured by the experience you create.
Successful Front Desk Coordinators help build:
Patients who feel welcomed and valued.
Providers who can stay focused on patient care.
Organized schedules with minimal downtime.
Strong patient attendance and follow-through.
Accurate collections and administrative processes.
Clear communication throughout every step of the patient journey.
A clinic that operates efficiently every single day.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll likely thrive here if you:
Enjoy helping people while maintaining high standards.
Stay calm and organized under pressure.
Communicate confidently and professionally.
Naturally notice details that others overlook.
Take ownership without waiting to be asked.
Enjoy solving problems and finding solutions.
Can have respectful but direct conversations when accountability is needed.
Work well independently while supporting a collaborative team.
QualificationsRequired
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
