Job Description
**Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience with phone systems, front desk operations, and administrative tasks. Knowledge of Oryx software and familiarity with medical receptionist duties are a plus.
**Duties:**
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive, check out
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk calendar
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Handle medical records requests and ensure confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical setting preferred
- Knowledge of the dental field for discussion purposes and treatment plan presentation
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Oryx software is advantageous
- Knowledge of medical receptionist duties and ER procedures is beneficial
- Familiarity with administrative tasks and front desk operations
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
