Dental Front Office Receptionist
Location: Lynden, WA
Pay
$19.00–$22.00 per hour (based on experience)

Apple Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an enthusiastic Dental Front Office Receptionist** **to join our Lynden office. As the first person our patients and families see, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience while helping keep our office running smoothly.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent customer service skills, and takes pride in staying organized and helping others.
What You'll Do
As a Patient Care Coordinator, your day will include:
Greeting patients and families with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
Checking patients in and out efficiently.
Answering phones and responding to patient questions.
Scheduling new and existing patient appointments.
Confirming appointments through phone calls, text messages, and Weave.
Helping fill last-minute openings in the schedule.
Verifying dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
Updating patient demographic and insurance information.
Collecting co-pays, balances, and processing payments.
Reviewing treatment plans and discussing financial information with parents.
Sending and receiving referrals.
Processing patient forms and maintaining electronic records.
Communicating with insurance companies when needed.
Supporting our doctors and clinical team with patient communication.
Monitoring daily schedules to help keep providers productive.
Assisting with administrative projects and office organization.
Helping create a positive experience for every patient and family.
What We're Looking For
Previous dental front office experience is preferred but not required.
Previous customer service or receptionist experience is a plus.
Experience with Eaglesoft dental software is preferred.
Knowledge of dental insurance is highly preferred.
Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
Excellent communication and phone skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to stay calm and positive in a busy office.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Dependable, punctual, and professional.
Team player who enjoys helping others.
Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
