About the Practice
Job Description
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients, managing appointments, answering phones, verifying patient information, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations within the health center.
Full-Time
Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Essential Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Verify demographic and insurance information
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collect copayments and process payments as needed
Coordinate patient flow and communicate with clinical staff
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, faxes, and emails
Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Provide general administrative support to the healthcare team
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum one year of receptionist, customer service, or medical office experience preferred
Medical reception or healthcare experience strongly preferred
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
