Job Description
Between our two medical clinics we have the following hours that we are open -
Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
PM, Saturdays between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Team members work a rotating schedule between both clinic locations in West Jordan and West Valley, and are required to be available to work every other Saturday as needed.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for our patients, making it essential to provide a positive and efficient experience both in person and over the phone.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
Verify, update, and enter patient insurance information accurately
Collect co-payments and handle front desk financial transactions
Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient coordination
Make outbound calls to patients on behalf of providers and staff
Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby area
Ensure patient information is entered accurately into the EHR system
Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service mindset with a patient-first approach
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic environment
Basic computer skills; EHR experience preferred but not required
Attention to detail, especially when handling insurance and patient information
Previous front desk, receptionist, or healthcare experience preferred
Willingness to learn—we will train the right candidate
