About us
Restore Chiropractic & Rehab is a sports and rehab-focused clinic in Lawrence with three doctors and a small, close team. We’re patient-centered and hold ourselves to high standards. You’d be the first face, and the first voice, of our practice.
The role
This is an administrative and patient-experience role, with no clinical duties. You’ll run the front desk: greeting and checking in patients, managing the schedule, collecting payments, verifying insurance, and guiding patients through their visit. You’ll coordinate with our remote biller, mostly by text, and keep daily and weekly office tasks on track. During busy stretches you’ll often be the only person at the front desk while all three doctors are seeing patients. We’re hiring for someone who wants to build a long-term career here.
Schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:45 AM-5:15 PM (1-hour lunch, 1:00-2:00)
Wednesday: 8:45 AM-1:15 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM-12:15 PM
What we expect
On time and ready. You’re at your desk 15 minutes before our first patient, with the front desk set up before anyone walks in.
Initiative. You see what needs to be done and start it without being asked.
Follow-through. When something is requested, you finish it and let us know it’s done.
Procedure-driven. You follow office protocols, such as calling patients who are 10 minutes late to reschedule, without reminders.
Ownership. If a mistake happens, you tell us right away and help fix it.
What you bring
Prior front office experience required; medical, dental, or chiropractic preferred
Strong organization and attention to detail, especially with scheduling, copays, and insurance
Comfort handling many things at once (phones, check-ins, messages) and staying calm
Clear, concise communication with patients and with the team, including by text
Comfort learning new software and adjusting as systems change
Discretion with patient health and billing information
What we offer
Pay: The pay range is $16-$17.5/hour based on experience, with a 90-day review for a raise.
