Front Office Receptionist
Job Description
The Front Office Receptionist is a liaison between the clinic and the patients. They are friendly, customer-oriented, and ensure each patient feels welcomed as soon as they walk through the door. They are responsible for managing patient check-ins and data entries to ensure the clinic runs quickly and efficiently.
Job Duties
Patient check-in responsibilities:
Collecting payment/communicating billing info
Collecting/checking pertinent paperwork
Uphold/enforce cancellation policy
Phone responsibilities:
Taking cancellations and reschedules
Scheduling appointments
Redirecting patients to the appropriate lines
Communication with other doctor’s offices
Schedule follow-up appointments
Manage/update patient prescriptions
Will be responsible for presenting metrics at weekly staff meetings
Experience:
Experience working for an Outpatient Physical Therapy clinic
Front desk experience
Health insurance experience
Recommended Strengths:

Qualifications:
High School Diploma
