Front Desk Receptionist
Cranberry Psychological Center at Seven Fields is a thriving, privately-owned outpatient mental health practice located in Seven Fields. We are currently seeking an energetic full-time front desk receptionist to add to our front office staff.
Full Time – 40 hours per week.
We offer a positive and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth. The candidate must be dependable, highly detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment. Must work well both independently and as part of team. Must possess excellent customer service skills and be willing to go above and beyond to make each patient experience a great one. Candidate must possess basic computer and typing skills, have experience with Microsoft Office products, and be able to navigate in a windows-based practice management system.
Previous medical office experience preferred but not a requirement.
Responsibilities will include:
Professionally greeting patients upon arrival
Collecting patient balances and copays prior to services being rendered
Verifying new patient forms for proper completion and efficiently entering patient demographic information into an EMR
Scanning patient documents to ensure complete and accurate patient records
Professionally answering our multi-line phone system and helping patients by answering questions, scheduling both new and follow-up appointments, and communicating patient’s needs to clinical staff
