Shift Hours: Monday-Wednesday 8:00am-5:00pm, Thursday 8:50am-7:00pm, Friday 6:50am-3:00pm, every other Saturday 9:00-2:00pm
What You'll Do

Help maintain an efficient patient flow throughout the office
Work closely with doctors, technicians, and other front office staff to keep the day's schedule running smoothly

Provide excellent customer service and help create a welcoming experience for every patient
We're Looking For Someone Who Is

Able to multitask without losing attention to detail
A strong communicator who is comfortable speaking with patients both in person and over the phone
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable learning insurance processes and office systems
Proactive and able to recognize what needs to be done without always being asked
A team player who understands that every role contributes to an efficient patient experience
Able to stay calm and professional when dealing with difficult questions or unexpected situations
Experience
Previous experience in an optometry, medical, dental, or other healthcare office is a plus, particularly experience with insurance verification, scheduling, patient intake, or electronic medical records. However, we are willing to train the right person who has strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
What Success Looks Like
The ideal person for this position understands that the front desk is more than simply answering phones and greeting patients. You will help make sure patients are checked in, their information is accurate and complete, their insurance is verified, and everything needed for their exam is ready before they reach the clinical team.
If you enjoy working with people, staying busy, solving problems, and being an important part of a team, we'd love to hear from you!
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 – 40.0 per week
Application Question(s):
Would you be able to work at our Jonesboro location for approximately a week when you start for initial insurance verification/data entry training?
Can you commit to ALL shift hours listed in the description?
