Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression for patients while ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is customer-service–driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dental environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Experience & Communication
Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environment
Answer phone calls, text messages, and emails professionally and promptly
Schedule, confirm, and adjust patient appointments with accuracy
Provide information about treatments, office policies, and financial procedures
Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes
Administrative Duties
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Collect copays, payments, and balances; post payments accurately
Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information
Handle daily administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and organizing patient charts
Manage daily schedules to maximize productivity and minimize gaps
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Qualifications:
Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred (but not always required)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance, and scheduling systems is a plus
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and behavior
Experience with dental software (e.g., Open Dental, Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a bonus
