Job Description – Front Desk

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
The front desk position is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of an excellent patient experience. As a member of the team, the front desk actively participates in front and back-office activities to enhance patient outcomes and contribute to the success of the team.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
All duties and responsibilities are expected to be performed in accordance with office policy, procedure, standards of care, and state and federal regulations.

Close office each evening and ensure reception area is clean and organized
Check voicemails and respond to patients
Prepare morning meeting report and tracking
Answer phones
Collect payments
Check-in patients and verify patient information is accurate
Verify any changes to insurance
Confirm appointments
Schedule patient appointments and monitor schedule
Monitor Weave for patient text messages and respond as needed
Accurately enter new insurances into Dolphin
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bi-lingual (English & Spanish) Preferred
High school diploma or relevant qualification
A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role preferred
Customer service skills
Good understanding of office administration and basic bookkeeping practices
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Previous office experience preferred, not required
Willing to train the right applicant
PAY DEPENDS ON RELEVANT EXPERIENCE AND CREDENTIALS
Pay: $12.50 - $20.00 per hour
