Charles County Surgical Arts is a patient-centered oral surgery practice committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming environment. We are seeking a warm, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients.
Position Overview
As our Front Desk Receptionist, you will create a positive and efficient experience for every patient who walks through the door. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical office, enjoys helping people, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and a friendly attitude
Answer and direct incoming phone calls; take accurate messages as needed
Manage patient intake, including forms, insurance verification, and record updates
Schedule, confirm, and modify patient appointments
Process patient payments, record transactions, and provide receipts
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and welcoming appearance of the front office
Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong clerical and organizational skills with attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
Proficiency with computer systems and office software
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
Proofreading skills and attention to documentation quality
Previous medical or dental front desk experience preferred
Experience with event planning is a plus, but not required
