Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Dental Receptionist to join our dental office team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. This role is a critical part of our front desk team, responsible for managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities

- Manage patient scheduling, including booking appointments, coordinating with dentists and hygienists, and updating patient records

- Answer and direct phone calls, as well as handle phone systems and messaging systems

- Handle patient inquiries and concerns, providing clear and professional communication

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, utilizing software such as Dentrix and Eaglesoft

Skills

-Receptionist experience is not necessary, but experiences candidates are preferred.

- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures

- Proficiency in administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and customer service

- Familiarity with dental office software, including Open Dental and Dentrix

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
