Front Desk Receptionist

Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist – Chiropractic & Acupuncture Clinic
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour (Wage based upon experience)
Job Type: Part-time, 18–25 hours per week
Schedule: Tuesday and Friday (full day); Saturday mornings
Shift Length: 3 to 8 hours per shift
Work Location: Beaverton, OR 97005 (In person)

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures and established office systems are essential. Responsibilities
Assigning patient rooms and managing patient flow
Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
Collecting patient payments
Checking insurance benefits and processing insurance-related paperwork
Contacting attorneys to check on case status (for PIP/auto accident cases)
Monitoring equipment timers during treatment (e.g., removing electro-acupuncture pads, adjusting heat therapy) as set up by the doctor
Accurately entering and maintaining patient information, CPT/DX codes, and documentation
Light cleaning and maintenance of office and therapy devices
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar administrative, reception, or medical/dental/chiropractic/acupuncture office role (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable and confident using computers, including navigating Windows, using web-based applications (such as Google Docs/Sheets), typing and formatting documents, and quickly learning new software programs
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to commute to Beaverton, OR 97005
Our Hiring Process
Our hiring process includes a phone screening, an in-person interview, and a brief practical exercise relevant to front-desk responsibilities. The first 60 days of employment will be an introductory and performance evaluation period, during which we will provide training and evaluate performance in areas such as accuracy, organization, reliability, communication, and ability to follow procedures.
