Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist
Location: Calumet, MI
Job Type: Full-Time

We’re seeking a full-time Front Desk Associate who is a team player ready to contribute to our positive reputation. Optical experience is a plus but not required—we’re excited to train the right candidate!

Responsibilities:
· Welcome patients with a warm smile and provide outstanding service.
· Verify insurance benefits and co-pays accurately.
· Answer phone calls professionally and address patient inquiries.
· Schedule appointments efficiently to ensure smooth patient flow.
· Process payments for services and products.
· Perform general office duties, including faxing, scanning, and copying.
· Check in patients upon arrival and facilitate their transition to technicians and opticians.
· Coordinate patient referrals to specialists as needed.
· Work collaboratively with team members to maintain seamless operations.
· Assist in additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role (preferred).
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, email, and scheduling systems).
· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Friendly demeanor and commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
· Prior experience in an optometry or healthcare setting is a plus but not required.
