Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
About the Role:
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The front desk plays a critical role in creating a welcoming experience for patients while ensuring the daily schedule and administrative operations run smoothly.
The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish and English, comfortable using technology, and able to multitask in a fast-paced dental office environment.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and provide a warm, professional first impression
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits
Submit and track insurance pre-authorizations using Google Drive
Check patients in and out and maintain accurate patient records
Collect co-pays and balances and process payments
Coordinate with clinical staff to maintain an efficient schedule
Send appointment reminders and follow up with patients when needed
Maintain organized digital files and documentation
Required Qualifications
Fluent in Spanish and English (bilingual required)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organization and multitasking abilities
Comfortable using computers and cloud-based systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a dental office or medical office
Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software
Experience verifying insurance and handling pre-authorizations
Skills
