About Us
Affinity Chiropractic is a busy chiropractic and wellness clinic in Chicago's Ashburn area offering chiropractic care, weight loss, peptides, shockwave therapy, red light therapy, and functional lab testing. We are hiring 2 part-time Front Desk team members to be the warm, organized first point of contact for our patients.
Position Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist greets and checks in patients, schedules and confirms appointments, answers phones, collects intake and insurance information, and keeps patient flow running smoothly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, check patients in and out, and keep the reception area welcoming and organized
- Answer phones, schedule / reschedule / confirm appointments, and manage the clinic calendar
- Collect intake forms, photo of insurance card and ID, signatures, and payment information as directed; update the EHR accurately
- Verify insurance / payment information as directed and support package / visit paperwork
- Communicate schedule changes privately to the team - do not announce delays in front of patients
- Support clinic events, patient appreciation days, and general office tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year front desk, receptionist, customer service, medical office, chiropractic, or med spa experience preferred
- Strong phone, communication, and computer skills; comfortable with scheduling systems and EHR data entry
- Professional, friendly, reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- HIPAA-conscious and able to handle patient information confidentially
Preferred
- Chiropractic, medical, dental, physical therapy, or med spa front desk experience
- Insurance verification experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
