Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Dental Receptionist to join our team! If you enjoy helping people and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the practice
Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries
Schedule patient appointments accurately utilizing dental office management
Maintain patient records by updating medical history, dental charts, and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Handle intake procedures including new patient registration, collecting necessary documentation, and explaining office policies
Perform administrative support duties such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing medical records with attention to detail.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a dental or medical office environment would be great but not required as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems professionally and courteously.
Spanish speaking candidate is preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards and handle sensitive information accurately.
