Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist with friendly and welcoming demeanor who can provide an excellent patient experience from the first phone call to the end of their first appointment.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming and inviting demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
- Manage patient inquiries via phone, email, and text, directing them to the appropriate department as needed.
- Complete insurance benefit verification for new patient appointments
- Handle patient check-outs, including collecting payments, discussing treatment plan costs and available payment options.
- Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Practice aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Support dental assistants and hygienists with various duties when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred, but not necessary. The candidate must be a self-starter with motivation to learn a new skill if applying with no previous front desk experience. Pay rate for this position varies dependent on skill level.
- Familiarity with medical imaging software is a plus
- Knowledge of dental procedures is beneficial

- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Scheduled hours for this position would be as follows:
Monday and Friday: 7am-4pm
Tuesday: 9am-6pm
Wednesday: 8am-5pm
Thursday, Saturday, Sunday: OFF
