Job Description
Cedar Village Dentistry is seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator to lead our business team in delivering a world-class patient experience. As a growing four-doctor practice in Mason, Ohio, we pride ourselves on a culture defined by excellence, efficiency, and genuine patient care.
Welcoming Environment: Ensure the front office staff warmly greets and assists all patients, setting a positive tone for their visit.
Treatment Planning: Present comprehensive treatment plans to patients, discuss clinical recommendations, and arrange flexible financial options.
Patient Retention: Conduct timely follow-ups for unscheduled appointments to ensure continuity of care.
Create, establish, train and manage internal office protocols and procedures to ensure office efficiency
Ensure that front office staff greets and serves all patients, present treatment plans to patients, arrange financing, verify insurance and do follow-ups for unscheduled appointments
Monitor AR to ensure that accounts are reconciled, and monthly collection goals are met
Facilitate the processing of insurance and secondary insurance claims, overseeing this procedure to ensure that claims are processed on a timely basisCompetencies
Patient/Customer Focus: exhibits patience, attentiveness, clear communication skills (verbal and written) in a positive manner
Ability to multi-task, adhere to details, and support multiple priorities, as well as plan/organize work activities efficiently and realistically in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality and ethical conduct in all aspects of work functions
Ability to take initiative/goal-oriented
Excellent leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED equivalent
At least two years of experience working in an administrative office support role, one year in a dental office environment
Working knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols
Experience working with Open Dental

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
