About the Role:
Haymarket Family Cosmetic Dentistry is looking for a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Haymarket, VA. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a patient-focused dental team where your people skills and attention to detail will shine every single day!
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional demeanor
Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and manage appointment scheduling
Verify dental insurance benefits and process patient billing and co-pays
Maintain and update patient records accurately in dental practice management software
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth daily patient flow
Handle patient follow-up calls, appointment reminders, and recalls
Manage front office administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and correspondence
Requirements:
Prior experience in a dental front office setting needed.
Familiarity with dental practice management software specifically Dentrix.
Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
