Front Desk Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and callers, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth office operations. This role requires strong administrative skills, proficiency with office management tools, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and excellent communication are valued.

Responsibilities
Greet patients in a courteous, friendly and professional manner.

Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately .

Schedule and manage appointments
Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software.

Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including proofreading documents for accuracy.

Provide patient support via phone, email, or in person with excellent phone etiquette.

Support administrative functions like typing reports, and supporting other staff as needed.

Experience
Strong clerical skills including data entry, and proofreading.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word
Experience with multi-line phone systems and customer service roles required.

Familiarity with Dentrix beneficial , but not required.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Previous experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial but not required.

Starting pay will be based on applicant experience with potential for higher rate.
