Responsibilities
Welcome and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude.
Answer and manage multiple phone lines while providing excellent customer service.
Schedule new and existing patient appointments.
Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with questions regarding their appointments.
Collect payments and process transactions accurately.
Assist with patient paperwork and electronic documentation.
Maintain accurate patient records within our electronic health record system.
Support providers with daily administrative tasks.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front office environment.
Communicate effectively with patients and fellow team members.
Uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications
Previous customer service, receptionist, medical office, or administrative experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable learning new computer software and technology.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Experience in a chiropractic, medical, dental, or wellness office is a plus, but not required.
