Front Desk Receptionist – Ophthalmology Practice
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy ophthalmology practice. This role is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key part in ensuring a welcoming and organized office environment.

Responsibilities:
Greet patients, check them in, and provide excellent customer service
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
Verify insurance information and collect copayments or balances
Assist patients with registration forms and maintain accurate records
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Manage referrals
Handle daily front desk operations such as faxing, scanning, and filing
Support general office tasks to assist the team
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, neat appearance
Prior medical office or receptionist experience preferred
Knowledge of insurance verification, medical terminology, or referral coordination a plus (but not required)
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on patient care
