Overview
Busy Pediatrics practice looking for a full-time experienced Medical Receptionist. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and strong organizational abilities.Duties include but are not limited to: greet patients upon check-in, answer multi-line phone system, schedule and confirm appointments, gather patient demographic and insurance information, verify eligibility of patient insurance, collect co-payments/co-insurance, check patients in & out. You must be able to multi-task, must be a team player and must be people oriented. Only candidates with at least 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist should apply.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the organization.
Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls and taking accurate messages as needed.
Support office management activities by scheduling and confirming appointments, and verifying insurances and coordination of benefits.
Provide customer support through effective communication, addressing patients inquiries promptly and professionally.
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills to enhance overall office productivity.
Experience
Previous experience in an medical office environment for at least 2 years.
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, appointment scheduling and verifying insurances.
