Front Desk Receptionist - New Hyde Park

As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will tackle a wide variety of interesting challenges, and uncover key insights that will drive positive outcomes for our patients. This position is open for our Manhattan Restorative Health Sciences office in New Hyde Park.

Responsibilities:
Warmly and professionally greet patients, visitors, and vendors
Performs administrative and clerical support tasks such as printing, copying, scanning, and faxing documents as needed
Maintain accurate patient profiles in our Electronic Health Record system.

Efficiently manage an integrated appointment schedule for multiple providers, patients, and appointment types.

Verify and manage patient payments, according to practice policy.

Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and organize supplies as needed.

Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a smooth workflow and exceptional patient care.

Ability to travel between our Bronx and Manhattan locations as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred
2-4 years experience as a receptionist, or in a similar customer-facing role (hospitality backgrounds encouraged to apply)
Energetic, challenge-driven, personable, and responsible with a professional demeanor
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service to a diverse patient population
Detail-oriented and holds grace under pressure in fast-paced environments
Native computer/software user
Spanish speaking a plus
Dependable and punctual
