Position Overview:
As a Medical Receptionist at PARKVIEW CARDIOLOGY, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. Your role will involve scheduling appointments, managing patient records, handling inquiries, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations within the office.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner

-Manage various administrative tasks including answering patient calls, emails, verifying insurance, and obtaining prior authorizations.

- Efficiently handle patient check-in processes, including collecting necessary information and payments.

- Assist patients during check-out, facilitating follow-up and testing appointments.

- Knowledge of communicating with insurance companies is preferred, but not necessary.

- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently

- Maintain patient records accurately and update information as required

- Answer phone calls, address inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff members

- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless patient experiences

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

-Experience in receptionist duties and exceptional multitasking abilities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

- Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.)
Proficient in using administrative software such as Epic, Athena, etc.

- Prior experience in a healthcare setting (preferred but not required)

-Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Mandatory: All staff required to have Full COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination status or commitment to begin the vaccination process before hire.
