Seeking a Front Desk Receptionist!
Job Description:
The Front Desk Receptionist will greet and check in all patients and visitors as they arrive to dental office. The Front Desk Receptionist will assist with scheduling, billing, and collections. The ideal candidate will be able to perform a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling, clerical, and customer service. The Front Desk Receptionist will assist with the daily front office operations. Also, will do some dental assisting functions as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of experience in dental front office position.
Bilingual
1+ Year's Dental Software preferable Dentrix
1+ Year's experience with dental terminology
Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills
Responsibilities:
Greet visitors to the facility and answer questions about our services.
Schedule appointments.
Check in patients. This includes entering patient information, payment information, and scheduling information into the system. Ensure all patients are scheduled for an exam and are paid for their appointment if requested by the patient during the visit.
Collect all payments from patient during visit; verify card data; enter payments into the hospital's cash collection system; confirm that all charges have been paid; enter data into our database for future reference purposes; collect all collections from patients' accounts each month or as needed.
Update patient records with new appointments, changes in insurance coverage, new procedures or treatments, etc.
Provide dental assistant services as a back up from time to time which includes assisting dentist with patient care, sterilize instruments. Previous experience as a dental assistant and knowledge of dental terminology is a plus, but can provide on the job training.
Hours: Mon-Thurs
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
