Front Desk Receptionist/Patient Coordinator

Job description
Busy Hilliard dental practice looking for an FT professional Receptionist to join their amazing team. The candidate must understand the value of excellent patient service and strong communication skills. Previous office experience preferred. The office uses Dentrix with Lighthouse 360 to confirm appointments. Number of hours is flexible from 30-40 hours per week. With the opportunity for advancement and overtime.

Key Tasks:
The requirements listed below are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability we are seeking.

Greeting patients, answering telephones, and scheduling
Entering patient information into the office computer system, Dentrix.

Insurance verification, assisting new patients to fill out the registration forms.

Collect and post payments including credit card transactions.

Electronically submitting/preparing insurance claims.

General admin tasks, such as photocopying, printing, scanning, sorting/filing/sending forms
Maintain a professional and clean reception area
Characteristics:
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a courteous manner.

Willing to effectively participate as a team member with office personnel.

Committed to the protection of confidential information, records, and reports.

Ability to maintain organization and handle multiple tasks at the same time with ease and efficiency.
