Front Desk Receptionist

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive and professional experience. Schedule appointments, greet patients upon check-in, process check-outs, and obtain insurance authorizations. Your energetic approach and excellent organizational skills will help maintain smooth office operations, manage multi-line phone systems, and support various administrative tasks. Optical experience helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Full-time position, 4- day work week with health insurance and paid leave.

Duties
Greet patients warmly and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing clear and courteous customer support
Handle incoming calls, screen inquiries, and transfer calls efficiently using proper phone etiquette
Maintain accurate appointment scheduling
Assist with clerical tasks such as photocopying, faxing and emailing
