Job Overview
Seacoast Dentistry is looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.
Our front desk is an important part of the patient experience. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, communicates well, and can keep a busy dental schedule organized while making patients feel welcomed and cared for.
Responsibilities include:
Greeting patients and providing a wrm, friendly experience
Answering phones and scheduling patient appointments
Managing the dental schedule and filling cancellations/openings
Confirming appointments and following up with patients
Collecting copays and patient balances
Reviewing and calculating estimated patient portions
Verifying dental insurance benefits and eligibility
Understanding dental insurance terminology, coverage, and limitations
Communicating treatment costs and insurance estimate clearly with patients
Keeping patient information and records organized
Working closely with the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly
We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable and punctual
Friendly, positive and professional
Comfortable talking with patients both in person and over the phone
Organized and able to multitask
Detail-oriented and proactive
A team player who is willing to help wherever needed
Comfortable discussing financial responsibilities with patients.
Dental front office experience and knowledge of dental insurance REQUIRED.
