Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Insurance Verification & Front Desk Coordinator to join our dental practice in St. Petersburg. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, understands dental insurance, and thrives in a fast-paced dental office environment.

Responsibilities:
Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility prior to patient appointments
Communicate insurance coverage, estimates, and patient financial responsibility
Check patients in and out and assist with scheduling appointments
Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage front desk flow
Collect copays and payments and accurately update patient accounts
Coordinate with clinical and billing teams to ensure patient and insurance information is accurate
Maintain accurate and organized patient records in the practice management system
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a dental front desk or insurance verification role required
Knowledge of dental insurance plans, benefits, and terminology
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, CareStack, or similar
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy dental office
Schedule:
Monday through friday
No weekends
