South Hills Dermatology is a successful, independently owned and operated dermatology practice serving patients in the South Hills of Pittsburgh at our two locations for over 18 years. Our compassionate providers and staff strive to offer high quality care to our patients.
We are seeking a full-time or a part-time medical receptionist to join our team. If you are a dedicated, friendly, passionate, quick learner then a career at South Hills Dermatology is perfect for you!
Responsibilities:
Answering multi-line phone system
Scheduling appointments
Taking messages and call backs
Filing and faxing
Patient registration, verifying demographics and insurance
Input patient charges and process payments
Qualifications:
Customer service experience or experience in a medical office setting
Experience with basic computer software
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, patients and visitors
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
